Ok...people.

I posted before saying my platy was pregnant. So i watched her closely, and every night she went into her breeder trap...but one morning I woke up and....she had nothing in there but she looked empty again.. a week after now...shes looking pregnant again... what the hell could have happend? it was almost as if she needa a big poo and after it she deflated.

It could have been possible that she ate them all...next time put plants in the thw breeder so the fry have cover ....sorta like my signature...the marine is the fry and the shark is the female

i had moss stuff in one side of the breeder trap...meh i dunno..

lol my sis is obsessed with great whites and zambizis!! my sis wud luv it if she saw tht pic!!

What do you mean she went into the trap every night? what sort of a trap is this?

Chances are that she ate her fry out of stress if she didn't like the trap she was in.

You might have a better chance of saving a few fry if you added plants and decorations in your main tank and let her drop her fry in there.

Ok , chances are liek the others have said above the fish most likely ate
the fry , you might wanna go buy some java plant and put in your tank
and when u arent aroudn if she has babys agin they can hide in the java till u can net them up and put them in your breeder. or u can buy a lot of fake plants that helps to but buying a java is cheaper

Update:

I found one platy fry this morning. But I don't think it was from the platy that actually looked pregnant. My platy that looked pregnant still looks pregnant, but my other platy was actign weird, i found her,today my soem moss in the bottom of the tank looking dead, but she wasnt.. then i found the baby.. hooked it in to a net.. i put it in the bottom of the breeders trap thing, then put both my platies in the top.

All I can do now is wait.

I also..found a snail in my tank i hear they are not the best things to have in your tank. but what puzzles me is that

i have no live plants what so ever in my tank...maybe theer was an egg on one of my fish??

Update: One of y platies died for someu nknown reason....Baby is still oging.
