I have an Aquanano 40 (55 litre) currently and it's a great tank. I hadn't though of the 22 litre version, I think I'll look into one of those. In a 22 litre what tank-mates could I get for a Beta? Cheers. Jim

Hi there, i've just ordered a Salifert Nitrite test kit but on the sellers description is says "SALIFERT NITRITE NO2 TEST KIT MARINE REEF FISH" Can I assume that nitrite is nitrite and whether its marine or freshwater it doesnt matter or is it optimised in some way for marine? Cheers, Jim

Hi there, can anyone tell me why water is coming out of the airline of the Venturi please? You can see in the above picture that the white tube should be the airline but is pumping out water instead of sucking in air!! Cheers, Jim

Been looking at the Corydoras on YouTube and they are certainly more than than a cleaner fish than I thought they were. If I went for 8, how many or what type of tetras could I keep in the 55 litre tank and how many? Cheers, Jim

Here is the picture with the pump placed where it should be with the correct connections on (as per the attached diagram) Although interestingly in the 'amendment instructions there isn't a picture of the venturi! Maybe this doesnt work due to the placement of the pump!

No problem, my fault for giving the wrong info in the first place. Do you think it's needed to oxygenate the water? I have live plants in there now. Jim

The problem is that it's pumping water out of the air line!!! Any ideas?

I use the bar on mine too, it's all sorted now. Although, I have connected the air line to the pump to use the venturi but it pumps out air! What could I be doing wrong? Jim

Hi all, I have a Aquanano 40 and am currently cycling the water. I think I either want to get a tetra tank, a platty or other live bearing tank or a barb tank. I want to get some Corys too for the bottom. The bottom will be sand. So my question is if I went for the above how many tetras...

Sorted! There is a green extension tube that comes out of the pump up and out of the hole. The pump itself is supposed to lie on the bottom of the tank. Thanks for your help. Jim

Does this look right? I'd expected the outlet pipe to go directly through the little hole into the main part of the tank?

Hi all, purchased my AquaNano 40 this afternoon. I'm a little confused as to the correct location/ position of the pump. Can someone post a picture of the back of their Nano so I can see how everything should be positioned. Many thanks in advance, Jim

Hi there I am thinking of buying a Fluval Edge - 46 litre, I have a couple of questions if you don't mind: 1. Is the filter man enough for the job as it's the same as the smaller version. 2. What type of fish can I keep in it and how many. All advice is appreciated. Cheers, Jim

The Fx5 looks quite industrial, how is the noise levels? If it's nice and quiet I'll speak to my lfs and ask what deals they can do with adding it to the Juwel tank. Thanks, Jim
