Nitrite Test Kit

Hi there, i've just ordered a Salifert Nitrite test kit but on the sellers description is says "SALIFERT NITRITE NO2 TEST KIT MARINE REEF FISH"

Can I assume that nitrite is nitrite and whether its marine or freshwater it doesnt matter or is it optimised in some way for marine?

Thanks mate, just seen this desciption against the product in another website

"The Salifert Profi Test - Nitrite NO2 test kit will accurately measure nitrate levels in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums"

Anyone else know what the deal is on this kit please?

Still think you might be right to be honest, althought whether it's a problem if I use it in tropical i'm not sure. Hopefully someone wll know for sure.
