i am think about a copperbanded butterfly for my 150gal reef tank but i have contradicting info on the some say they are coral safe and others say that they are not could and body help with this many thanks in advance neil

go back to your original picture i belive the small white pipe is the inlet to the filters the blue pipe is the good water outlet (RO water) the red pipe is the waste it looks like bag 3 contains the flow restrictor and flush tap if this is the case this should be fitted into the red pipe...

at least the young chap i got mine from was very helpful when i arrive at his he had removed all the LR and packed it for transportation but it seemedto take ages to pump all the 150gal of water into the new water butts for the trip and then four people to carry the tank and then the reverse...

i feel for you it is going to be a busy day if my experince of moving a marine tank is any thing to go by i moved my 150gal about 6 months ago and it seemed to take forever so good luck and i hope it all goes to plan with no probs

try b.l.t (bulbs lamps tubes) the sometimes sell on ebay so they do mail order

im glad to hear you decided to go to a sw tank they are far more rewarding than fw when i moved my 150gal tank my lfs gave me some polystyrene transport cases that they get there fish delivered in these are good as they are insulated and thus keep the water temp higher for longer

i have the same size tank and i run that on three mh 150w home made lamps i used some large halogen housings and fitted mh bulb holders as these are different to halogen fittings and connected these to remote ballasts etc these are running 14k bulbs and my corals are all doing fine

hi all looking at changing my scaping and considering installing a closed loop system as a rock support system and for water movement i have a 150ukg tank i am also going to replace the canister filters with a sump i have a 50ukg tank that i was thinking of using for that any help on pipe...

i have some of these in my 150ukg tank have injected them with vinegar this evening they have disapered into the rock that was 2hrs ago and all look good will keep a check on things
