i bought 4 oto's a few weeks ago only got 1 left are these fish hard to keep or something my water stats are fine and no other fish have died i use good quality flake food ,catfish pellets and algae tablets and freeze dried food they is quite a bit of algae in tank which they seem to be eating...

i have same problem with one of my zebra danios it is a lot fatter then the other zebra danios i have and swims oddly from side to side my water stats are fine so any ideas would be helpful for both of us

still does not look right just put more plastic plants in any ideas how to make it look better ?

hi i use the polishing pads but not juwel ones cheaper ones from ebay i changed then once a week any more than this the powerhead slows down do to muck on polishing pad done nothing unusual and no temp difference feed fish twice a day but not to much i have greedy tiger barbs so it is all eaten...

hi to all just recently upgraded from a juwel rio 125 to a juwel trigon 190 tank had no probs with the 125 but with the 190 i'm getting a brown tinge in the water and brown algae on the tank glass i have the lights on for 4 hrs in morning then 4 hrs at evening which was the same for the 125 tank...

hi i just use pipe that comes with my gravel cleaner take of the big end tube suck on the pipe and just hover over the sand this picks the bits up and does'nt mess the sand up make sure you don't push pipe into sand has it will draw up sand just hover about 1/2 inch above hope this helps

on the end of the air tube is a blue cover turn end of it until bubbles appear

juwel do a venturi which fit on pipe coming out of the top of the filter it has a small air line connected to it just pushes onto outlet pipe since using in my juwel fish tank fish seem to enjoy it it makes loads of tiny air bubbles in tank which can't be bad for the fish best £6.00 i have...

hi i have recentally changed over to sand subrate in my juwel rio 125 i have been changing water every week just hovering tube over sand to get bits out but when i put new water in from bucket seem loads more bits sitting on sand so today i clean tank as usual but i then refilled with water...

i bought one for my juwel tank it fits on the powerhead and sprays water at top of the surface thus giving more oxagon in the water my fish seem a lot better since i fitted mine

just found the fish sucked up into my pennplaxx internal filter i had filter sitting on a ornament so could get it higher up in tank so the air venturi was pushing water across top of tank water what i did'nt reliese the filter has got a hole right up the middle so fish must of swam under filter...
