Here are a couple of pics of the t5s! I have kept the centre bar for now and just added two double t5 hi glo ballasts. I attached the bulbs by screwing them into the two hood flaps either side! Its not ideal as all the wires make it abit jumbled and the flaps are not as tight wen closing...

Now have 6 t5s in my tank now! a couple of blues, couple of whites a fiji purple and a tropical one I need to replace still from when i got the tank!! I have still got 2 clowns and yellow goby and no other fish just yet! added a few snails as the tank is looking a bit gungy round the edges...

Ive just set up a slightly smaller tank than yours and must have spent at least £600 up to now!! But if you have a lot of equipment already then you should not have that much to spend on!! If you buy second hand you can save a lot!!!!

Any chance you could throw a couple of pics up showing how uve fitted the lights? and how they look on the tank? Im thinking of getting a starter pack to add some new bulbs but if its a bit of a pain for the juwel i may wait and invest in a new lighting system altoghether. Thanks Luke
