Yep that is true... But I will feed them to fish, It isnt really to much work at all.... Food cost me 1.20 for there food which will last a while and the 500shrimp cost me 2.00, So even if it fails....only 3.20 lost in total

Well, I have been thinking for a while now, and decided i should start a little farm of brine shrimp. I have just ordered 500 brine shrimp.... In which i will keep 2/3 for breeding and to watch intil max growth (well maybe not max, but to a decent size) and the other 1/3 i will feed to my other...

Well im no expert on this subject, However over the years i have read that goldfish CAN live with tropical fish But you must consider.....Goldfish are cold blooded, and if they suddenly went into a hot tank (for them) they could die! Im not to sure what the best methods on how you do it...

Wait, Do you mean by this comment, All you feed them is some cucumber every 10 days and some algea. If so, Then thats far too little. pleco will find there own food, Plants (some plecos perhaps) in the gravel/sand algea and snails, HOWEVER, you should be giving a more balanced meal to them...

Hey all. I was thinking about buying some sort of Aquarium moonlight to give that extra effect, But have some question regrading it. If i was to buy one, 1) Whats the installation like? Would i have to do DIY magic or are they simply ones which would clip on with some sticky stuff? (eg quick)...

Well you will probly get different answers, But they dont grow as big as other catfish/plecs Therefore id say for them to be really happy in the tank, id think about 50l per one. but they dont grow that large

Add a few more algae waffles to the tank, hopfully they will get some food. I wouldt worry, BN will eat, algae in the tank, snails, Just make sure they have some sources of food in there P.S Where abouts in Auckland are you? do you live near cheltenham beach?

thanks for the comments. Its 120l tank. I aim to get more plants, hoping to get some java moss on the floor to make a carpet, and a few moss balls. Il get some larger plants to go at the back with the Amazon swords. The fish i will be adding are 4 schwartzi 1 panda cory 3 sterbai 5 yoyo loaches...

I would say you are about full for a 100l tank. I dont think your have room to add other fish IMO.
