Got a new pleco any one have any odea what kind it is

It might be, But im not sure. I thought Butterfly plec are slighty darker with more patterns

I may well be wrong.. I often am 2 Mmm, Would be nice to see what the ID is

yeh i agree they should have slightly more pattern the spots on it confused me looks half and half lol

but ill still stick 2 the butterfly theory for now lol

It looks like my 2 plecos. My TLFs called it a "candycane" pleco but I think it is a clown pleco (Goto Planetcatfish for info). I Have had my for 6+years. They hide in plants all day or behind filter intake. I tought one of mine had died but he showed up after 6 weeks.

I do not think it's a clown pleco because the facial marking look like circles to me.

I have a clown pleco .

It's definitely not a clown pleco.

Yeah i think you might be right there with the id, L147
Our suppliers sell these to us under their common name of tiger peckoltia even though this name is more often given to the L002
