Its a little bit longer than 4ft, see the oscar in the first pic he is 11" so you can kinda see what i mean its like 4.6ft long, weird eh heh, its 20" high and 18" deep and it wasw custom built for someone at my lfs, it was going to go right into there wall thats why its an odd shape, but anyway...

you wont have any problems but like you said most of the fish will be eaten, are you planing on keeping this fish or just holding it? if so what size tank do you have?

BGK's go with just about any NW Cichlid, i keep my 8" guy with a 11" Oscar, blood parrot, sevs, convicts and its also been in the same tank as a red devil/midas, and heaps more i dont think it will be a problem at all.

Top 2 are a shell dwelling cichlid called Altolamprologus Calvus. The bottom 2 are Yellow labs. The 2nd ones i dont know might be zebras or somthing but these are all African Cichlids.

I used to have one if these and yes they are a scaless fish, any meds will burn them/kill them, keep up the water changes and take him out of the tank next time you get white spot.

At least 100g+ for 2 Oscars, if you where to put 2 in a 75g the filters would end up costing you more than the tank + stand togeather! plus they would end up fighting after a while due to territory like another member has said.

they grow pretty fast, they max out at 6" but when there 2" there just nasty no other none cichlids will live with them.

True you can see the devil in the first one he does have devil lips but damn he is a nice looking fish. Perfect fins and body.

Agreed with Impur, doesnt matter about the depth there going to dig it up anyway so you can put as much as you want really.
