Losing Hope

Now I am losing hope on my cons with there spawning, because last night they stopped digging in the gravel and they stopped cleaning the flower pot. The male will go in a cave and when the female comes by he chases her away ( that happened this morning). He will also sometimes nip at her fins and flare at her I dont know if this is good or bad. So has anyone actually seen their cons "do the mating dance?" Ocasionally the female will go in the flower pot and it looks like she is cleaning it and sometimes the male will help.I was going to take out the other female so she wont get hurt, but now it seems like SHE is cleaning the pot too. She was a light color now she is really dark. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Yes they have cleaned to pot a few times again and they are moving rocks. This is what they will do, The female will go into the flower pot and clean then the male will go in there then clean too after a few minutes the male leaves then starts to move rocks then the female joins him, then it seems that they will go into the cave then move rocks out near there.

Stop stressing its all part of spawning soon you will have more babies than you can count.

Ok sorry this is my first time with cichlids and it is definitly my first time breeding them.
