Sweet little Martha. Recently we added some extra sand to her tank as she was looking like she wanted to burrow. Obviously we did the right thing as she's taken advantage of the opportunity:

But, somewhat worryingly, she seems to have grown some facial hair!

Martha has quite big fleshy lips which cover her teeth, but you can see them when she yawns or does strange facial expressions. Unfortunately catching such events on camera is something we have never been able to do.

When she yawns she looks like a donkey.

Martha is as entertaining as ever.

I'm glad I don't have the time and room for any more tanks or else I feel every time I look at the Minions', Paul v biker's or CFC's tanks and fish I'd be out spending more money I don't have... Fantstic fish peoples, thanks for sharing them with us.

She's around 8 inches at the moment.

As for how she keeps the sand out of her mouth, she puffs until a little hollow area is made around her face. It's most amusing to see.

To be honest, she wolfs her prawns down so fast I don't even have a chance to think about the camera, lol. That said, I intend to get her some crabs again soon and we'll see if her hunting skills have improved.
