Are there fry in the tank? They produce a lot of waste and it will take time for your filter to catch up. Maybe you didn't remove enough media from your main tank to seed the filter in this one? Can you take more out to put in this one? It's safe to remove up to 1/3 if I remember correctly. :)

I don't really get what you mean? All you need is a mature filter, the glass doesn't matter. You would just need to pinch some mature media from your other tank and you're ready to go!

I wouldn't worry just yet. They have been under stress from being moved plus you never know what they were fed at the fish store which may have resulted in white poop. Just keep an eye on them and see how they get on.

Because you fishless cycled with ammonia you can stock your tank all at once, just keep a close eye with your test kit for a few days in case you get a little spike.

Yep here are the photos now, let me know if you need any more. Now that the lights are on I see they have what I can only describe as an evenly spread matte finish to their bodies now. Could this be a slime coat build up? It's not fuzzy looking. You can kind of see it in the photos.
