What Is This Fish?

I got this guy at a BFS today and they had no idea what it is. He was the only one and in with danios.

looks like a mountain minnow to me, possibly a gold white mountain minnow

I dunno every white cloud/mountain minnow I've seen has a stipe of the body. This guy has a solid silver body and red fins/tail.

It's not a very clear picture but could be a bloodfin tetra

Bloodfin tetra seems to fit, although the pic is tough to be sure...

They are quite hardy fish, but need to be kept in shoals.

Yea I am going to try and find some more tomorrow. I took him because they gave him to me free since they knew he was not something they normally carried.

They can get confused for WCMM by folks who aren't really paying attention.

Not danios though.
