In sort NO. Even if the parrot is a hybrid it is still very much a cichlids and they should never be trusted with smaller fish. I have seen Parrots get to be 6" they are not small. Getting on for this tank is a bad idea.

If you think they are too small then go with that. It depends on what you are selling them for. If for feeders it does not matter. I would keep them till they were about half the size of the adults or a little bigger don't wait till they are full grown.

Look up Palaemon elegans that's pretty close not sure if it is that. it's more of a salt water shrimp.
