Hi all, I am looking to tidy up the site a bit. Some of the pinned topics take up quite a bit of page space on the marine forums, does this bother you or is it fine to leave as is. Would it be suitable to place the pinned topics in Appropriate subforums here...

You will be pleased to hear that they do regenerate :) Usually to the same length as previously but not always, glad to hear you have seperated your unsuitable tankmates. What other fish is the betta with? Make sure that the tail does not pick up fin rot or another infection.

There are already automatic fish feeders, the people wanting them are either going on vacation or want a low maintence tank, so they probably wouldn't use the other two features. pH is not a huge issue in a standard tank - certainly in one where the user can not be bothered to feed themselves...

Why didn't you pay for it or put a deposit down and collect it later?

Get a plastic cat/fox/predator and put it beside the pond :) It would work far better than one of those plastic herons.

If it's 3 inches then it must be doing pretty well fighting with the other fish for food! Earlier today I saw in my pond about 15 goldfish or koi fry amongst my plants which is nice to see, varying sizes from 5mm to 1", so it looks like some of them might make it to adulthood :)
