What do you guys make of this christmas card I received?

Not going to tell you any details about it, just say what you think please. :)

I'm trying not to give too much away. I think there is a message in there.

Yeah, get a restraining order

I'm with Arfie on this one unless you know this person well and know what the heck they are rambling on about. Otherwise, it looks like the writings from the minds of some of my clients (I work with people with psychotic disorders)

So you think there is something not quite right about what this person has written? Do elaborate for me. Just curious to know your thoughts

OK, assuming that this is not someone close to you:

1st of all it is not written in normal everyday language.
2nd it is very disjointed, very much a list more than a message, in other words it doesn't make sense.
3rd "we photosynthesise, do we not" well erm, no we do not! Photosynthesis being the process that plants use carbon dioxide and release oxygen, we do the opposite.
4th WTF are they sending Xmas cards for in November, thats weird enough on it's own

All in all it "sounds" like someone who has an obsession with you, of course this could be way off the mark without more info, but you wanted 1st impressions

Is this a Christmas Tree writing you a card? Or does somebody just like to use plant analogies to suggest that Christmas be a time for compassion, personal growth, and a spirit of reverence to your fellow man? And perhaps not the time to just focusing on buying and becoming just "A.N. Other (another) Customer," but to discover the deeper meaning of the holidays?

Either way, the hand writing and disjointed message makes this very difficult to interpret. I sure hope it is from a friend, or someone really is friggen odd to be sending you random messages like this in the mail.

Ok I'll give you some background about this card. I work in asda as a checkout operator and the person I received this card from comes through my checkout every Saturday without fail. Even though he only buys a couple of things he still queues at my checkout. He is nice enough and pleasant but I can't help feeling uncomfortable when he comes through. Yesterday he gave me this card and said "would you believe I didn't have any envelopes, have a read and see what you think" then walked away. I think this was so I'd read it straight away. But I didn't and he came back through my checkout moments later and seemed worried or anxious to know what I thought. He asked what I thought and he said he had tried his hardest with that card and that it wasn't your usual to/from card. I told him I hadn't read it (I hadn't). So he mumbled something about plants and we said bye. I gave it to my friend to read it because I was really worried about its content. She said he was a freak and I read it and though awww he's wrote a poem type thing about my course I'm studying (Biotechnology) but when later analysing it.......came to a few conclusions.
So thats why I asked you what you thought incase I was being paranoid.

Symbiosis= two plants, two animals, or a plant and an animal living closely together, benefitting eachother.
Symbiotic= Same idea where two species benefit eachother (mutualism), or one benefits from the other but the other is not affected (commensalism), or one benefits from the other and the other is affected (parasitism).
Photosynthesis= process where plants manufacture their own food by using energy from sunlight.
I was thinking that this was hinting we go for a meal? As the bottom of the card said potential is there to do the above.

I don't understand the humanist part. The bit about the daisy could be that he sees me during the day only?????? :S :S

Mayb hes not as insane as it appears, seems clever now you look at it like that. its nice that hes taken an interest in what you do but seems slightly obsessive as well!!!
