I think you are right about that too. My cories get something different everyday. They go crazy over Spirulla (sp?) Disks too.

See thats the thing. I can give my cories the Hikari algae wafers and some other sinking wafers (Hikari sinking wafers you are talking about, Tetramin tropical tablets) and they seem to go after the algae wafers first. The only thing I have seen them go for first is the earthworm sticks I got...

On the topic of C. aeneus growing, I have learned the Albinos seem to grow a lot faster then the bronze. Anyone else noticed this? EDIT: Thats cool about the RTBS and the cories getting along. The shark is kinda like their body gaurd :lol:

Yes, algae wafers have a lot more then just algae in them. They have other nutrients the cories like and need.

I dont think there will be a problem. Dont worry about the albino cories not getting enough food. You will feed them sinking wafers that the danios wont get to quick enough. The danios will eat their fair shair of flake food though. I saw another post where you were asking about what to feed...

What other fish do you plan on putting in the tank besides the fish you listed? If its just the danios and the 6 albinos, then there should be enough room for some C. habrosus.

No this is not normal. Sounds like these cories are not healthy, or something has been picking on them and damaged the dorsal fins. What kind of cories are you talking about?

Im not familiar with the filter you mentioned, but you actually wont need a filter for the first couple of weeks, just a airstone to put oxygen in the water. Daily water changes and cleaning the tank will be like having a filter. If you put a filter in the tank too early, then the fry will...

Yeah, mine really like Hikari algae wafers too. Actually they like just about anything Hikari makes. I put the whole wafer in the tank and all of them will crowd around it and push it around the tank. Maybe I missed this, but what kind of cories did you say you had? EDIT: Grammer

No, they are not odd. My cories love algae wafers too. Ive yet to see a cory that doesnt like them. What kind of algae wafers is everyone else using?

I dont agree with that. Cories like to be in groups and if you dont keep them that way you will notice a difference in their behavior. Have you ever added a group of fish to tank where there was only one and once they found each other, they all go crazy? I dont know if cories "grieve," but...

I dont know if Frank is selling any right now or not. I got the ones from Frank off of Aquabid a while back. I know he is really busy these days and I dont know if he is selling any fish right now. Either way, both of them have top notch fish.

Frank and Corys R Us (Bryan) are two different people. Frank took pictures to put on Bryan's site. Corys R Us and BetterBettas are the same person and these are simply the names of Bryan's companies.

No, they are not very common. This is the first time I have seen them from anyone other then Frank or Ian. They both have an extensive collection and will have just about any cory you are wondering about.

Frank, I was thinking the same thing. The cory pictured definately has a longer nose. It looks to be one of the "long nosed" cories to me.

I know my cories really like the algae wafers and the spirulina disks. I feed mine the usual tablets and frozen stuff, but they get an algae wafer quite often.

Yeah, mind hid a lot to when I first got them. Once they settle, they should come out more. I like them too and am always on the lookout for some. I would really love to have some of the Dianema urostriatum like you got, but have never seen them around here.

There wont be any problems at all. I have been keeping Portholes (Dianema longibarbis) with cories for over a year and a half. These fish are very skittish and really need to be kept in groups just like cories. I have not seen an ounce of aggression from them. I got the only 4 I could find...

They are in a 30 US gallon along with some C. axelrodi, C. trilineatus, and C. polystictus.
