Extremely large Oscars can be even bigger, largest one caught/kept was 18" I believe.

Are the Vejia and texas wild caught as well? I'm very fond of argentea, I love them as large adults. What will the two CA's be kept with?

75g is the recommended minimum for 4 RBP's. Of course bigger is better, but Space is quite correct in what he said. Large, well rooted plants will be fine with them as well, they'll take some damage probably and need to be securely in place but should do fine.

Could also be any old messed up hybrid. Where did you get it from?

I wouldn't reccomend any of those for a 20g. Even though this is irrelevant now as the OP has chosen kribs, I though I would clear that up incase anyone else reads this thread. They all get too big really for a 20g, unless it's 30"+ long, or preferably 36"+.

Some of the more aggressive cichlids, especially when breeding, like dovii, midas etc. will knock out their own teeth bashing the glass trying to get to things outside the tank.

Cryptoheros spilurus (not Archocentrus), but then I wouldn't say they were pure specimens, that or they haven't been incredibly well looked after or are stressed.

With larger fish (normally cichlids) you can get them to attack magnetic algae scrapers. "Teasing" them through the glass, letting them try attack your finger etc. Putting stuff above the tank on the glass covers to get them to investigate (won't keep interest long), ping pong balls, golf balls...

Even though this thread has been heavily edited by mods, lets clear up some size issues. Oscars can and will grow 14"+, the largest recorded was around 18". Severums will grow 10"+, I have 9" ones which are still growing, should really get to 12".

There were pictures on another forum of an 18"+ BGK, that someone had in a tank. But we aren't allowed to link. I'm pretty sure DE has seen those pictures as well.

I play loose or tight head, this year I only played for the school, we only lost 1 match in 5 years playing 15 a side. We then entered rugby 7's tournaments, we won one tournament, not loosing a match, then got through to the semi finals in a country wide tournament, loosing out to the winners...

If the prices rise to buy the fish, then surely people will make less money selling them? Unless they raise their prices more than the difference in inflation. Say you bought a loaf of bread for 30 pence and sold it for 50 pence making a 20 pence profit. If buying the loaf in the first place...

Where did you manage to get it for that price? If you don't mind sharing. I wouldn't go for African cichlids of any kind, personal taste, you may like them of course. You could have the barbs, severum and the climbing perch in the same tank and add a few more fish around them.

25g, Angel pair, "yoyo loaches", cories, Brochis. 30g, home to a pike cichlid, sajica pair, Asian bumble bee catfish and BN plecs. I'll put up a picture of the 90 later.

Inchworm, surely you are not saying the mesh size is dependent on the colour? I have different colour nets, a white one being the finest meshed. But I'm sure there are nets with a fine mesh size in all different colours.

I really like aurantimaculata, they are very nice looking fish. Sounds like a good little collect you have. I'd say the assam is 3-4".

What tank size will it be? That's another crucial factor.

Finding a comprehensive list of every fish you can't keep another fish with would take forever. There are just too many species of fish. You don't want anything too small, anything too large, anything that won't be able to take a little aggression from the angels, anything that couldn't compete...
