The balas need to go in the biggest tank you get. Just think that even in the 55 balas will grow to 12 inches. Your tank will only be 48 inches meaning they only have 4 times their body length to swim. That isn't very far at all. Brad

Should be fine with your betta. Most corydoras get 3-4", but there still can be some difference depending on which species you have. Post up a pic and we can tell you. Plus you should never keep them in groups smaller than 3. I suggest you go get a couple more to make the one you have now...

Just put a piece in the water and let it float by your finger and your Betta will come and get it. If you do this for awhile hopefully he will get more used to you. I have fed some a few times that way but never long enough to see if it really makes them more comfortable with me or not. Brad
