After looking around I think I may go with Black Ruby Barbs as a dither fish. Also the original tank size I quoted is wrong, it would be 120gals and a possible 105gal after decor. But for some reason the manufacture quotes a lower gallonage to take in account water displacement.

35 litres is probably going to be to small. I think you need about a 90litre tank for a breeding pair.
