Ok, what have I just watched? It was looking like a decent series, and from out of nowhere, that's it Jack's off and it looks like Torchwood is no more. Did they forget that Billy and Martha appeared to be joining Torchwood at the end of the thing with the Daleks, where did they go? Russell T Davis has obviously lost the plot and destroyed what was one of the best Sci-Fi drama's to come out of the UK. He missed an opportunity where Jack could have been redeemed by his grandson sharing his ability and coming back to life. After feeling like I've wasted the last 5 evenings I'm really concerned what they're going to do with the end of the Doctor this year.

Ok - Rant over for now, if you watched it what do you think?

I think...

His grandson having his ability would be ridiculous at best. He got the ability back in doctor who when he was brought back by Rose. It's not genetic. It's purely to do with time and space...and...whatever else.

After he's just sacrificed his grandson for the sake of the world then if he wants to take a soul searching trip into outer-space so be it. Seems fair to me with there being no aliens on the scene at the mo.

And isn't martha on a honeymoon....Or was, and then 6months later there is no reason she would be invited to the 'meeting on the hill'

My prediction for season 4, if they make one, is that Torchwood reforms with Gwen, Martha, Billy and perhaps Lois or the one from the 'secret service'. Then they're facing some sort of alien threat and get a bit stuck. Jack comes back, they beat the bad guy. All moves on.

I think this 5 day series has been really good overall. Cept for the constant green explosion thing...what was that about? And when it exploded and then beamed out the cell was clean...I know it beamed out, but would it really have beamed it's gunk with it?
Oh and did we know he had a daughter before now? Cause I was a bit like, errr who are you...

We're used to Torchwood not quite telling us what's going on it used to make the end more interesting. And they did the 'i'm stuck, where's jack when you need him' thing at the beginning of series two. I was enjoying it until they just coped out with jack running into the stars. Perhaps Jack's friend Captain John could come back, that would be hillarious!

Sorry let me just mop up the puddle of drool...presuming you meant James Marsters...
He's getting a bit old for me now tbh, but still mmm

Yeah, James Marsters is a great actor, who's character could play an interesting part in a new lineup.

I thought Children of Earth was really well done, but pretty sad.

I didn't like how Ianto died. He was my favorite character next to Owen.
I hope that they do decide to make a fourth season. I liked Torchwood a lot more than Doctor Who, one of the best sci fi shows I've seen.

I thought part 1 to 4 was good but part 5 was crap what a waste of my time.

Well the plans for season 4 was to be based on the viewing figures on the 5 episode special. Considering it had over double the viewing figures on season 2, I think there be a good chance there will be a season 4.

I didn't really like it much, it wasn't interesting enough to keep my attention for the full hour each episode was on. It may be the best drama in the UK but that because all others suck :D. I'd much rather watch a drama like The Wire, which is awesome. Doctor Who with Christopher Eccelston was amazing, but the newer one was just drab. I tried watching Torchwood from the beginning but was extremely disapointed, half the people who watch it only do because they have a crush on John Barrowman. Drama is kind of dead in the UK at the moment, it's all this reality crap.

Anyway, thats my opinion. If its one of those tl;dr moments, all I really said was "I didn't like it much".
