Havent mentioned this apart from in private convos with some members, but after a complete tank wipe out of my Aureus fry, I thought Id lost them all.
About a week ago, I was having a good look around my rainbow tank to see if I could find my ADF's who I had put in there to see how they got on, when I noticed these tiny little fry swimming around, I had to double take, but indeed it appears that two of the aureus babies had some how hitched a ride in the anubias plants I had moved from their tank before cleaning everything out when everything went wrong and were thriving!! You wouldnt believe how loud I shouted to the kids when I saw them
Cant believe they made it, needless to say, Im keeping a close eye on them, they are hiding out mostly in the plants and under wood even though I dont believe they are in any danger from the rainbows, but they are eating well, so something good has come out of the disaster.
