I think you will find that you will need to put more than 3 tiger barbs they need to be in groups of 6 or more, 2 of them will usually pick on the weakest/smallest one and sometimes kill it (if in a group of three) also in small groups the barbs will harass other fish in your tank they are...

yeah they are crazy I am too scared to go near any of the ones that live round the uni the males are massive and puff out their chests out at you .... man if they got a hold off you they would rip you to pieces.

hmm well I know you can keep round 15-18 Barbs in an 80Litre tank but that is without the loaches I am not too sure how big the loaches grow but I think I would have to agree with lilfishie on the 4 of each barbs and then 4 loaches and as lilfishise said you will defantly need a good filter and...

Thanks Dorri :) I am thinking of getting a Paradise fish for work I also have a Betta at work I think I will put the Paradise fish in reception and keep Cosmo my Betta in my office plus I have 2 tanks at home :hyper: be careful fish keeping can get addictive LOL

A paradise fish would live happily in a smaller size tank the are similar to betta's in their needs but they also like to be on their own so I'd prob only put one in the tank :)

In your profile you say you have one tiger and one green barb? do you still have them? coz Barbs should be kept in a group of 6 or more defantly don't keep just one of each it can lead to real problems.
