Hi, I'm wanting to add some soft corals to my marine tank, and am not sure which are relatively easy to care for, and will do well in a fairly new tank! So far, I have live rock, 2 cleaner shrimp, 3 turbo snails, and 2 clownfish. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! My tank is 75 UK...

Ok brill, I'll get some when I next go! Next question - any idea what corals to add to my tank? I only have live rock, which is a bit boring for the clownfish!! Was thinking soft corals, but any suggestions? Thanks! :blush:

They're not bothered with flake food, but started eating the little white 'beasties' in the tank as soon as they arrived, and now eat brine shrimp. Laura

Thanks for the input, yeah I want to add corals eventually, but I know how long the process is, so I'm in no hurry to add any for a while yet! I use the drip method to acclimatise my new snails and shrimps - over about 2hours, they all doing fine! And there is plenty for them to eat, as a lot...

Cute!! Not sure how you tell at that age, if it starts growing bristles it'll be male! I have 1 male and 1 female - female has no bristles yet, male has a few! Someone else may be able to add more!

Wow! I hope you realise that when they get bigger, they may well start breeding, and then you will be over-run! :hyper: I started with 2! and now have 40 babies!! have to agree though... they are Very cute!!

Hi, I've been to get my CUC today, water is fine so I've got 3 turbo snails and 2 cleaner shrimp! Going to go and get clownfish or maybe hermit crabs next, i'll check the water before I add anything though - free tests at fish shop anyway! Laura

Ooh I like the 'stingray pleco's'!! Love the bogwood - trying to soak mine at the moment so won't colour my water - not working though so far! Any suggestions how to stop bogwood turning the water orange?!?! Laura

Have to agree with this - They are nice fish, however... I had 2 dwarf blue gouramis, and one of mine developed a lump - maybe tumour upon reading, with medication it lasted a while, but no longer! So i'm down to 1, and only had it 6months. As for clown loaches - they do grow big, although...

Hi, My bristlenose plecs are still not fully grown, and have started breeding on their own accord. I had 10 babies in the first batch, and have not got the 2nd batch swimming around my tank, and so far have counted 26! As I only have 1 tropical tank, I'm wondering whether they will continue...

Nice picture! I've tried cucumber and courgette - my older bristlenoses and clown loaches love it, but not seen any babies on it yet! will keep trying - they busy cleaning all the bits nobody can reach!
