yes thats what i thought, anyone know from experience

has anyone successfully kept peacock gobies with red tail or ruby sharks

they seem healthy and happy and they have a well oxygenated fast flowing area of water to stay in

what would you recomend

i just calculated my aquarium and its 39.896103896103895 gallons of water i estimated the 35 gallons, the honey gourami are moving to my 20 gallon approx when its cycled and the fish i have had in here for two years and the shark and bumble bee cat are nearly fully grown 6 and 5 inchs...

if you look to the top right of the pic where the flash is you can see loads of guppies , you just cant see them very well because of the disgusting stae of the tank, well done on the rescue looks like it was a big job

it is true that red claw crabs idealy live in brackish water but since most pet shops keep them in freshwater tanks it is best to then after keep them in little to no salt tanks, in brackish water they seem to shed their shell more oftern but in clean freshwater they will shrive much better. and...

they are great pets ,you will proberly see them as fan shrimp, giant african filter shrimp or cameroon armoured shrimp. they range in colour from white blue pink and black, they can change colour depending on age health and hapiness. they can get to 15cm so 30 gallons minimim more is better...

no salt for red claws teelie is right making sure the lid is tight and to heavy for them to lift is the only way, they will climb plants pipes and just about everything else except the glass, they can also jump and swim a few inchs ,is it just crabs in the tank because you could lower the water...

i went to a fish store today that i have never been to a got two hillstream loachs because they were 2.75 and not 6.75 my lfs was asking. the clerk there was really friendly and knew what he was on about, he told me that they can tolerate tropical te,preatures as long as you acclimatize them...

im not actually going to get any at the mo, no room for a tank, i was thinking about them in the future. i was never gonna mix the two i was just building a discription of what sort of tank a small puffer might need

whats the best enviroment for small puffers such as dwarfs and figure 8 sand or gravel? what plants if any? what tankmates if any? How many per gallon? Best food?

a lot of sites were recomending tropical fish as tankmates such as gourami other loachs tetras and much more, there are some fish that tolerate large tempreature perameters, are you sure that they are only coldwater

looked on a few sites ,looks about the same cool looking fish might get a couple ,seems like they are good algae eaters does anyone keep these any advise

i never considered that actually, looks kind of the same , the body looked rounder though but that could be because they are young

bumble bee cats are fun to watch and colourful, some get to 7 inches most only about 5-6 ,they will gobble up fry like theres no tomorrow. but will also eat anything smaller than 1 and a half inches

being top swimmers they gobble up the blood worms well before anyone else so that shouldnt be a problem, i guess only time will tell

i have had my african filter shrimp for about six months now and just recently moved it to a diffrent tank (bit larger) , but now he has gone missing ,the new tank has sand where the other had fine gravel is it possible for them to dig themselves completly into the sand , i hope he turns up soon

sounds like an giant african filter shrimp or cameroon armoured shrimp as they can be called , they filter tiny bits of food from the water which helps keep waste food down ,they are very shy and peaceful and need to be in a comunity tank, they can reach big lengths like 15 cm, but this does...

is tetras all you want, personally i cant stand tetras neons in particular, i do have some glow lites but i think there are a lot better choices out there

i spent about £7 on my giant african filter shrimp, and £9 on two cory julias ,i dont spend that much on fish mainly because i only want small comunity fish and round my way there isnt that much choice anyway
