So what's the most you've ever spent on a single fish (Not the most on a single fishie shopping trip ! - that could be another poll )

I've just done GBP and USD and the exchange rate is only approximate.

the most i ever spent on a fish for £6 for a panda cory as it was the first time they had ever been sold in my lfs in a year.
EDIT: oh, and it died too .

The most I have spent was 4.50 CAD on one Rosey barb. I bought him to add to a school I had where 1 had died. All my fish have been barbs, platies and danios.

I bought them direct from a breeder, 4 for $20 Canadian.

the most ive spent is 8.49 for my severum and it was more than worth it. its my favorite fish but im buying a 15$ bichir on sunday if its not sold yet.

we have plecs now worth £60 that we got for £12

Until last weekend the most was £25 average cost for the 5 L129s... but we Spent a full price £27 on our LDA33

this will all go out of the window when august comes when we should be getting a small community of Zebra plecs.... dread to think whet I'll be giving as my answer then!!

Well the most I've ever spent on a single fish was just under £40 - I bought 4 of them (yeah way too much money that month and way too little sense) and 3 of them have died so far (my L255's - Medusa plecs). Never again will I buy that many fish in one go without having successfully kept them (or at least a couple) for a period of time So I guess lesson learnt - the hard way

i spent about £7 on my giant african filter shrimp, and £9 on two cory julias ,i dont spend that much on fish mainly because i only want small comunity fish and round my way there isnt that much choice anyway
