Would you have a school of clowns and corys or would this be too much with a couple of plecos aswell?

I do really like the rotkiel so that wouldn't be a problem. The only other thing I had in mind was swapping Corys for a large shoal of clown loach. How would these fair with the cichlids?

I'm hoping to set up a 6 foot x 2 foot x 2 foot tank in sort of 12-18 months. This is my dream tank and I'm looking for loads of stocking ideas. It will be sand substrate, 2 x External Eheim filters, lots of Bogwood and a few big rocks. I really haven't got a clue about stocking levels so...

He sounds awesome. I used media from my dads pond filter to help speed things up and it seems to have worked. I've had the Guppys and an RTB shark in there for a week now and all is well so far so fingers crossed its settled down. Just to add - I don't intend to keep the F/ M with the Guppys...

I've heard that F1 Firemouths (presumably closer to wild caught?) are much better coloured than the standard LFS Firemouths? Does anyone on here breed them or got any photos? A lot of the ones I see in aquatic places don't look half as nice as some on here and I want a nice one :) Gaz

I've got the Argos play sand in my tank. It was reccomended by loads off this site. I just gave it a good rinse first.
