on a fish related note do you fancy a scoot to gt. im thinking about heading down for some water
you need to drill the tank or get a overflow box to take water to the sump mate. find out if the tank is made of tempered glass coz you wont be able to drill it if it has. but you may be about to drill the back wall
yeh but was that taiwan not fine with most other people except you or am i thinking of a different. ill have a look and see if the discs of photos dolly took that time are about anywhere or is that where you got most of them from??
i think that filefish can nip at corals but im sure someone will correct if im wrong on that one. what wattage are your t5s would need to know this to see what corals you could keep but you will probably be fine with euphyllias and a few other lps. and most of the softies
scott i am truly sorry to hear this my thoughts are with you and your missus. im sure you feel lost and saddened.
as bud says it really does put things into perspective. hope your time away helps ease things a little and we will all be here when you get back
you should really figure out if there is any reason the hawkfish stopped feeding in your tank when it was feeding in the shop. could be something simple or maybe just the stress but no point in wasting money if other fish are gonna die when you add them
yeh if its a 150 itll light the bottom of a perc90 but as dave says the bulb could be done and need replacing. id spend the money on a decent bulb to get good growth
I would recommend the flameback as they tend to have a better rate for being reef safe and stay a little smaller
but in saying that flames don't tend o be too bad for nipping corals but are slightly more risky.
I would also recommend the flameback as I have one and it's my favourite of my stock
not fish eat all corals you could find that if you put sps in that a puffer may only got for example millepora but it may do more of maybe not touch anything. its just like the old dwarf angle fear with coral eating ive heard a lot of people say they never touch a thing the maybe add a...
It can be done but I'd say if you have never kept sw before go for summit bigger.
Your parameters can change so quickly in a small tank so always remember "the solution to pollution is dilution"
Well said truck coz obviously nick and oohfeeshy and now bae just want to cause havoc.
Nothing more really needs said, it's not anything to do with any of us if we get it or not. reasons for and against have been given now it's to the powers that be to decide
Mate what is your problem why can't you just drop it. If the mods decide to add
it I hope You never hav the pain of looking at it.
Grow up and leave it to the people that run the forum.
