That is one thing Ive though about doing. The only problem is, I dont have a spare tank that is big enough at the momment. The only one I have is probably 12" x 7" x 7".

My severums seem to be ill. They seem lethargic and the condition of them doesnt seems as good as it used to be. They have greyish patches on their scales, One has a white a white patch on its eye too. Water stats are fine.

Funny you should mention that. Mine have started doing the same today. Ive connected a piece of airline to the power head inside the juwel filter to add extra oxygen into the water and they have come back down to the middle where they normally are

Its not that I don't like them, Its the looking after them that is my concern. The setup I have now did have discus in it for a few years. I know the tank, Filters etc are ok. Ive read somewhere that you need to do a 50% water change every 2nd day. I only do about 25% every week

My temp is 29oC, The PH is 6.4 and the water is 3 on the KH scale. I dont know what the shops water was like but I will find out tommorrow.
