Okay, so the world cup is nearing, why not share with us your favourite alcoholic drink to be holding whilst watching the footie?

Mine would be a pint of Stella

if it had to be something other than a cup of tea it would be a can of fosters or a jamieson and coke

truck whats the drinking age in UK? your my age and i cant 'public' drink for another 6 years

In the UK it is 5+ to drink alcohol in your own home, in public is it legal at 16 with loads of restrictions, at 18 you're free.

technically correct... but you'll find most pubs (or restaurants since you're only allowed something with a meal) will just stick to 18 because it's easier to control, and since any sale is at the discretion of the license holder, you can't argue with them about it. and that thing about only having 1 drink... you could argue that since you're not allowed to serve someone who is drunk, and the legal definition of drunk would be reached after a single pint of stella, no one can have more than one drink...

anyway, i'll answer the question.

I don't drink alcohol... but my faves WERE:

Theakstons Old Peculiar
Rum n Black
or Budvar

If I was watching the world cup a glass of cyanide would be welcome.

If I was watching proper sport, i.e. not a poor excuse for exercise, I would want a pint of Bowman Ales - Wallops Wood. The best ale in the world.

Roll on 2pm when I wake from my night shift today!

Lol who ruffled your feathers...

For me, Pear Cider or Fosters. But pubs get way too packed, so I'll be round my mates having a BBQ.
