FWIW it looks like a standard asterina starfish to me.....
probably just eating what may have been dying off from your mushroom (if it is dying)

I understand that Rob. but this is the only starfish that is on it and I have quite a few starfish. I think I will get rid of it. just rang up my LFS and they have the livestock in my after, so im happy now.

Im back with the new stock.
Also my dad bought himself two new frags to put in my tank, until he gets his ready one is a toadstool, and the other looks just like xenia but apprently it grows up like a tree. So im not sure what that is, but there only in my tank temp until my dad gets his tank up and running.

I have two new peices of livestock, the guessing games start.. any ideas?

No fish, i will just tell you. i bought two peppermint shrimp to try and help me combat my aiptasia. They cost me £10 each, is this a good price? oh and any ideas on the frag I told you about, its like xenia - but its a tree.

pic with the two frags, you carnt see the xenia kind of one, it hides good its on the small peice of rock. you can see the toadstool though, carnt wait for this beast to grow oh and the peppermint shrimp, last time I will prob see them as when there in the tank I doubt I will see them again:
