Slight change of plan YF, oh and hope you enjoyed your holiday :good:

Tank will still be delivered on the 2nd but now by Mr Seffie and Mr Trod - It just will not go in my car complete, so Mr Seffie is borrowing an estate car from a friend and bringing it up for you :good: I can't drive it as i am not insured  to drive the estate.

So Trod and I will be out on a little jaunt that day, suspect looking for baby lions

Just rang up the marine specialists.
Its going to cost me £70 all together for the water.
Its £6 for 25l of salted water.
And £8 for a 25l container.
So im going to get 125ls, worth of both.
However, I get back my money for the containers, as I will only keep one.
So I only end up paying £38.
And then it will cost me £6 a week ovbiously for the water changes.
Im going to ring up another LFS in a minute when they open and get a quote off them also.
I rang up the marine place as they are known for the marine's around here, so thought it would be best.
Hopefully I can find someone near me that has a r.o unit and will sell me water cheap.
:p

that's about the going rate - something around £3;00 for 25 litres of ro water unsalted

and to be honest it's worth it for the lack of hassle the first time - i could have bought you up the water, unsalted but it would then have taken 24 hours to get it ready before putting it in the tank which wouldn't be good for the rock so, £38 for salted water and a container is a good price :good:

Yeah, im pritty happy.
Rang up another and theres works out more money.
So the best marine shop, do the best prices which suprised me.
I thought they would have the highest prices.
I had a sleepless night last night thinking about it.
Pritty bad, as i got back from holiday with 10 hours sleep through the week.
To get another 3 hours sleep last night.
Oh the joy of fishkeeping lol.

 and it doesn't stop when you get the tank :hyper: when do you think you will get the extra rock?

Oh, by the way, will you be getting an emerald crab? there is some grass type algae on one piece of the rock, I like it - if you don't a crab will eat it for you

Cheers bagu, it was on friday im 17 now wohoo!
Lol.
Seffie, will the hermit crabs not eat the hair algea?
And I think im going to get the LR asap.
Properly within 2 weeks.
As I will end up buying it from a LFS I think.

No, it's not hair algae (pest algae) , it's a macro algae, thats good for the tank as it will absorb phosphate etc :good:

Right weighed the rock today, you have got about 10 K in the diplay and about another 1K in the back (this is not an exact figure, as I didn't want to have the rock out too long.

I am not going to tell you everything that is on the rocks, so you get to do rock watching and discover things

It's a bit cloudy as I have just taken the rock out to weigh it, but here goes, a little tease:
