The L309 looks nice, not seen one of those before. That L200 looks healthy aswell. There is no stopping you buying fish is there lol, suppose your tank is big enough though.

yeah i do get carried away when restocking.....

the L309 was a bit of an impulse buy tbh but i also have never seen one before and it looked a geat fish.

the buying will soon come to an end as im nearly where i want to be with the tank then the angels can be moved in :good:

we havent had the pleasure of a photo of your Angels yet lol

Nice choice on the Bolivians....I love mine. Underated little fish that can show beautiful colours given the chance....

I dont blame you impulse buying a gorgeous plec like that. I always have a soft spot for a nice l number.

He has pics of the angels on his ray journal. They are very nice too.

there are pics of the angels on my ray journal but they have since grown. its hard to get decent pics on my phone camera of them but ill try :good:

thanks. they actually look smaller in the pics than what they actually are....

i think im going to go for a ground crew of 2 more L200's if i can find any that are a similar size to mine.

im also lovin the bolivian rams they are so active and have coloured up well except 1 of them that is the smallest of the group. it doesnt seem to want to join in the fun with the others.... i may need to get another 2 of these!

still not 100% if i should keep or sell the cardinal tetras. as stunning as they are they just dont seem to fit in..... ive been thinking about getting a group of black neons to replace them and maybe getting a few more rosy tetras or maybe just upping the rosy tetra group and leaving it at that

in a strange way ive also been on the look out for a male swordtail but im yet to find a nice looking one! maybe a couple of females too, i dont know why but i just fancy these!!!

the way things are going the stocking may be -

8 x leopoldi angels
6/7 x bolivian rams
4 x L200
2 x bulldog plecs
1 x L309
16 x rosy tetra
10 x black neon tetra
1 x swordtail (maybe 1 male and 2 females)

thinking about it ill probably wait until the angels are in before adding another group of tetra as i dont want the tank too look too full. the rosy tetra are constantly bickering with each other giving plenty of movement and they are a deep bodied tetra so will fill the tank when adult quite a bit more than they are already.

Lovely BR's!

I found rosy tetra to behave more like cichlids than tetra. They seem to form quite a pecking order and weren't keen on shoaling

Awesome fish, amazing colouration in your fish Matt as always. How i'd love to be a fish in one of your tanks!

Seriously though, sort the focus issue out, its been nearly 2 years hasn't it haha :p

Stocking is coming along nicely though, this thread is swaying me toward a small group of Bolivians for my 280L planted, along with other conciderations such as checkerboard cichlids, and wild betta's. Hmmm.

Some more pics of the angels would be good too!

yeah they are a fiesty bunch but with there being 13 of them they hopefully will keep themselves to themselves.

great looking tetras though and the first time ive kept them.
