What are you doing today?

We've taken a car load of stuff to the recycling centre this morning, though most of it was non-recyclable. But it will be incinerated and used to generate electricity, and the left over slag replaces aggregate used in road building etc.
Up until lockdown it was a free for all there, and at times it could take half an hour or more queuing to get in. Then at lockdown they introduced a booking system which allowed very few vehicles at any one time. They've kept the appointment system though more vehicles are now allowed per half hour slot. It works so much better than the old free for all.

I just water changed 35 10 gallon tanks. My heart wasn't in it today. I can see why so many posters here want to believe no water change tanks are the way to go. I think we're going to see a lot of the old aquarium myths making comebacks in the next year or two. Chores are chores, after all, and the greatest reason why our hobby isn't more popular is that living creatures need to be cared for.

There's a woman up the road with 3 dogs that never seem to get out. She cleans up after them, but to me, that's no life for a dog. They need to go outside and run. I refuse to keep fish like that, though they don't run around my yard or go for walks like my old dog does...

Pets do need attention, and if you have a regular schedule, you avoid a lot of problems. So even if changing water today felt like pulling teeth, it does feel pretty good to look at it all when it's done.

Yes and no. I’m out of the hospital, but doing worse

I’m okay though. Thanks for asking
I hit "like" for out of hospital, but not for doing worse. During that long dark period when my wife was battling cancer and chemo side effects, out of hospital was always a good thing.

It is a good thing. Thankfully the reason I was in should go away within a week or so, it’s the rest of me that’s worse haha

Same old , same old but the same old , same old I like. Retired so no job to go to. That's the part I like best. Feed the fish. Tend to my live food cultures. Watch out the window at my bird feeders. Grab a magazine and head for the throne room leaving the door open for my wife's aromatic pleasure. Life is good.

I hope they don't too! The little I know, which is very little, says you should be good. Hang in there.

The odds are good, but I know others with CRPS have had bad luck 😅

Having a lot of tree trimming done. The tree monkeys are doing a great job!
