What are you doing today?

Stopped in at PetsMart to look around since I was passing by and picked up another 2 1/2 gallon . Special deal only $11.49 .
I hope they also sold you an oscar to live in it. Or a bala shark.

@jaylach Sorry to ping you. I forgot to ask a while back in regards to GPUs. At the moment I'm considering an upgrade to a 4070ti from a 2080ti. However, I'm guessing Nvidia will soon be releasing the start of the 50 series? As 40 series was OCT '22. Should I wait for that series to come out? Or grab the 40 series right now while it is on sale?

Depends on your needs. If you do serious gaming and/or heavy video editing I'd wait for the 50 series as it will last you further down the road. Otherwise I'd go with the 40 series but still wait as, once the 50 is released, the 40 series prices will likely drop to even lower than the current sale price. Of course there IS a risk with waiting for the 40 as there is no guarantee that the price will drop but that is the norm.

Thanks! I hadn't considered that  I suppose that could leave me with room for a potential 4080 as well if cheaper. It will be interesting to see how the two series compare. If I recall the 30 to 40 series was a decent improvement but with increased cost. Hopefully, that's not the same outcome with the 40 to 50 series apart from the overall improvement.

The consideration factor should be the resolution of your screen. I game just fine @ 1440p with a 4070; if you are into 4k monitors waiting for the 50 series might make sense - if you are a 1080p sort of person then 4070 is more than enough. Of course when the 50 series come out the 4 series might (or might not) drop in price conversely there is blackfriday consideration.
