Doing my waterchange and was so busy paying attention to what was in the tank, I forgot about what was in the bucket... Soooo... Yah, I think everyone knows what happened after that 😂

I actually have 20 tanks. And I started using this user name before I had my first tank. I played a war games for years called Axis & Allies. First as a board game and then online. Initially in the Mocrosoft Gaming Zone where I was sysop. After that the game was hacked, fixed, improved by players and continue withoout needing the CD or Microsoft. I have not played in many years now.

There used to be ladder clubs for organized olay and I did that too, because the game is biased in favor of the allied, ladder clubs use a bidding system to see which player or team will take the Axis. Low bid gets and buys some extra units to place on the board. I would play Asis if I could start out with two tanks 9ine of the pieces in the game) placed in the territory which was basically Efypt. So, two tanks, am in.
I just kept that name since then, which was 1999. It is also an Egyptian related pun.

I only had to clean 17 impellers and wells. I forgot that I had recently replaced the shaft and inpeller on the 110. But one of the 70s had a blade missing on its impeller and I replaced it. I keep a lot of spare AC parts handy.;)

I'm starting to get a little frustrated with this waterfall project. Need to back up and figure out what to do.

Those moments suck. Once you've hit a point of frustration, taking a step back, a bit of a breather, and reassessing the plan is the smart move. It might be frustrating because some part of your brain already has another solution or path that might work better, but it hasn't risen to your conscious awareness yet.

Have every faith that you will get there and create something wonderful!

Your faith is inspiring if unwarranted. The big problem is that it was flowing nicely, but not giving the flow rate I wanted for hillstream fish. So I'm modifying it to increase the flow over the waterfall. But I'm not sure how the modified waterfall is going to look, and I suspect that even with the mod I'm going to have to add a powerhead to the main tank anyway. So maybe I should just leave well enough alone with the waterfall. Efforts to improve a device like this always carry the risk of making it worse. I think I'll sleep on it.

Just as a thought are you sure your inlets are large enough to handle the 3/4 inch PVC?

you might pm @fishjasonle for some hints on setting up the waterfall... he won TOTM with his tank.
I'm still curious as to the size of the inlet holes. Since the layout is dual sided, with the intake opposite of the output, the inlets need to be able to supply, in essence, 1 1/2 inch of transfer tubes; 3/4 inch PVC X 2.
