What are you doing today?

That's my dog a couple of years ago. Sadly, age is catching up to her and she won't be around much longer, but I appreciate every day with her.
That, and I appreciate she isn't a cat.
Sorry to hear that. Definitely spend all the time you can with her... It's sad losing a pet, really is....

What do you have against cats? Just curious... The only things I have against them is their twisted multiple personalities at times and the fact that I'm allergic to them 😅

Lucky....
Its cold with no snow here (I always say that the cold is worth it if there is lots of snow) and I cant do my water change because of how cold it is (there is also rain coming and I use outside tap so I cant heat the water). So my view right now is a computer screen cause Im trying to do my algebra 😂 . And its the review and exam. I cant mess this up... Fish Forums helps me not get a headache while doing math

That looks like an amazing winter scene there! I wish my area in NC could actually produce snow... And REAL snow, not the ice pellets we got last year that was called "snow" by the meteorologists. 😅

I doesn’t usually snow this early in the winter, not usually till February here. And yet we’re at our second snow of the year. We’ve got about 8 inches in some spots. Hoping it melts before I have to get to the airport

Ah ok! Its nice to have an early snow sometimes... Just as long as it doesnt hinder your plans too much and isnt blocking travel
Definitely hope it melts before you leave! It would suck if you were delayed at all... May there be sunny days ahead! 😅

I get along pretty well with indoor cats, actually. But I have a beef with outdoor ones, as they are very hard on songbirds.

In my new life as a person in the country, there are coyotes and bobcats around, as well as foxes, so there are a lot fewer cats let out than I was used to as a city guy. Rats, squirrels and cats are a lot less interesting than deer, foxes, bobcats and crows.

Winter is playing tag with us here. I'm afraid we're going to lose all our snow tomorrow night, if what comes in is rain as predicted.

True, I understand that point of view

We went out Christmas shopping today. It was about 30F, weirdly warm for this time of year. An hour later it was 0F and snowing so hard I could barely see to drive home. Winter is here, boys and girls!
Lucky you! :) Low tonight is supposed to be minus 20. Funny thing is that by Saturday or Sunday we are supposed to be in the 40's.

I hear you on cats! I get along with cats as long as they are willing to get along with me but I'm more of a dog person. There is a guy in my apartments that has a 'hunter cat' and he leaves his window partly open so the cat can come and go. We used to have rabbits around but this cat has killed them.

My apartments are open for pets without even needing a pet deposit but pets are, according to lease rules, supposed to be on a leash when out of the apartment. Management just seems to refuse to do anything about it. I'm in a situation where I REALLY like my apartment but not the same as to management.

Anyway... what I'm doing today is watching old re-runs of the show Mannix and staying warm. Having 'Dan Dan Noodles' with pork, chives and shrooms for dinner.

Same here. -20 tonight and -27 tomorrow. Brrrr. Then warm over the weekend. We'll be about ready for it.

Definitely glad I don’t live in Wyoming 😳
I left three other states that were warmer as to winters to live in Wyoming. It DOES get cold at times but not all that often. I'll take the cold spells very willingly in exchange of being able to go outside with almost no pollution in the air.

Wyoming is a place I'd love to visit along with Montana. I've heard its really nice in both of those states.
