I have NEVER had this happen during a water change! This is kinda weird.

It was tightly packed. It wasn't loosely moving. It was sliding through like it was in a solid state
Ah dang... How far away is your work? I'm guessing their changing hours or doing a bit of over time?
My dad is always getting up suuuuuper early for work. Usually he has to be up at 3am and sometimes 5am on a good day... Its tiring for him.
Generally 20 minutes, but traffic is bad in the morning.
Ah ok, so not too bad, still a bit of a drive. And yah, traffic in the mornings can be pretty heavy cause that's usually when everyone else is ALSO trying to get to work

My cousin couldn't go to school today because he is sick. So his dad dropped him off at our place.
Hope he feels better...
But out of curiosity, why did he get dropped off at your place if he is sick??

His mom was at work, his dad had a doctor's appointment, and he's only 6 so he had to come here. He was pretty upset that he couldn't go to school.Hope he feels better...

Answering Emails, batching RO/Di water and putting it into storage containers, doing maint./wcs on the six tanks in the pleco breeding space. Finishing up getting the gifts ready that I am giving to each of the members of my fish club at tomorrow night's X-mas meeting. There is a dinner, but I will arrivee after that. I am in an area where there has been a serious increase in Covid/Flu/RSV. There is an advisory to mask for any indoor gatherings. I am a high risk person for Covid and I have gotten 5 vaccinations. But I still need to wear my N95 mask the whole time I am at the meeting which means not taking it off to eat.

Hey, @JuiceBox52 , what became of that bird? Did it make it or succumb to its injuries?
I was wondering the same! But I didn't ask cause then I think I remembered her saying that it went with the flock of birds that waited for him
