What are you doing today?

Is there a web site for your issues that takes donations for research? If so I'd appreciate a link to the site.
There are a few. I can get links

Today I am waiting for deliveries......getting a bit cheesed off with delivery companies tbh (and it has zero to do with the holidays)

Yesterday I was due a delivery that has been delayed til today due to a pooter failure at DHL that meant parcels could not be loaded onto vans (Remind me how we managed these things before the pooter existed....ah yes...paper and pen)

Today I should get yesterday's deliveries....and the deliveries actually due today have already been marked as "Delayed 24 hours" by DPD......just as they marked up previous deliveries that suddenly and without any tracking turned up the day before they were due last week.

A little frosty outside and the entire county goes into panic mode....even yesterday's binmen managed to be 2 hours late due to "running out of woolly hats".......what the heck do woolly hats have to do with sitting in a dustcart whilst dressed in employer provided hoodies and oilskins????

As someone born before the pooter took over......I GIVE UP!!!!!!

Periodic paralysis

Complex regional pain syndrome

Another CRPS this one isn’t research but I love it, it’s made a big difference for me

https://www.thenorrislab.com/research/ehlers-danlos-syndrome - this is the best place to donate for EDS research, they have made WAY more progress than the EDS society, and they have programs for patients with EDS to work on studying their own disease.

Gastroparesis

Mast cell activation syndrome

POTS and other dysautonomias

MALS -we aren’t 100% sure if I have this but we are consulting with surgeons who may be able to help if this is the case

If I was to choose which one I’d prefer to be dontated to, it would be the periodic paralysis association. They have been suuuuper helpful with me in my journey for a diagnosis, so that or the Norris lab. You’re awesome!!

Oh how I want to donate so so much.... I would. But sadly I'm actually being honest when I say that my parents would not allow me to :(

I saved your post for later use though :)
I may not be able to help now but in time I definitely will

Not feeling as sick. (Throat still a bit sore and a light headache). But I feel well enough to FINALLY do the water change.

And learning from my past mistakes, I'm double checking the ingredients list on the tea before I drink it.
No need to get all woozy off melatonin again 🤪😂

Watching the World Cup! It’s now at the “quarter final/round of 8” stage.
Brazil V Croatia is now 101 mins of the 120 +penalties reqd in Croatian KO games. Iirc six of their last seven tournament KO games have gone to penalties. The Croatian goalkeeper is once again the star of the show. Poor game though. Croatia are “the new Germany” in the sense that however unheralded their team is they seem to be able to progress…….Brazil have just scored and I can’t be bothered to edit this post in an attempt to convince passing readers I know what I’m posting about.

Netherlands v Argentina later tonight. Morocco v Portugal and England v France tomorrow.

NOW the Croatians will have to show what they can do when they take the handbrake off.

Had a game Tuesday night against the best team in the league, unfortunately we lost by 15.

Water change day today....the 29 gallon is getting their first water change, so might be fun if they decide to misbehave...the 53 gallon inhabitants are old hands at it now, so they just stay out of the way

Three deliveries arrived yesterday....the two with DHL were delivered by my usual driver in his car. He found the parcels in the Monday morning pile, checked and found they should have been delivered on Thursday, so brought them up on his own initiative, which was very good of him and very much appreciated. The DPD deliveries somehow got split up (they are from same supplier/order), one half delivered yesterday and the other due today.

Two other deliveries are at the mercy of the Royal Mail strikes so might get here before Xmas...maybe...perhaps....

All jolly good fun if you do not weaken

Yeah I know... My mom uses it as a threat.
She's like: "You need to use saltwater to help your throat" and I just look at her like: "No please no"
And then she is like: "You will either do saltwater OR vinegar. If you choose not to use saltwater you WILL use the vinegar."
I'm team saltwater 100%. I ABSOLUTELY HATE the taste of vinegar. I'm a wimp when it comes to using vinegar in my mouth 😂
Overhere we call such moms "Torturemoms" hahahaha.
Glad I escaped about 35 years ago.
