What are you doing today?

I never like reading teenagers who don't eat - I dealt with so many eating disorder kids, and lost a workmate to an eating disorder. Her heart failed in her late thirties.

I know there are circumstances, but I have this thing about clanging pots when I see possible echo chambers... clang clang.

I got up early, went for a 7km walk, did some stuff with the fishtanks, did some work type work, moved a chest freezer, did my physio (I see a connection there), tricked our old dog into eating her special diet the vet just put her on and am now drinking tea and contemplating taking a trip next Spring. A good day.

That's nice... I'm not hungry 🤣🤣

Seriously though that is great! Really healthy

By the way it's only breakfast I'm not hungry at. Lunch and dinner I eat a lot. I can eat like 3-4 pieces of pizza+wings+salads (of course when my stomach isn't hurting). So I don't have an eating issue 🤣
But I do appreciate your concern Gary.

Lol... I just got through the whole day and realized that I forgot to take a shower... Now on Wednesdays usually I don't take one right in the morning cause it's water change day but then right after my water change I go up and shower... It's 7pm and I literally just went: "Wait... I FORGOT TO SHOWER ALL DAY" 🤣🤣
Oops...

Does your stomach hurt from reflux or too much acid? They have medicine to cut down on acid production. You can get ulcers or worse from too much acid production.

Idk... I need to get it checked. Last time I went to the doctors for it (years ago) they said it was an issue with constipation...

But they gave me a prescription and everything ya know... Works how it should or sometimes a little better than it should. So I don't think I have that issue anymore. I think it may be acids cause every now and then it sounds like my stomach is legit gurgling.

If you get acid indigestion you would certainly know it. It’s a burning sensation in your stomach and maybe esophogus as well. Dont ignore it if you have it as it can cause stomach and esophogus damage. I’ve been on meds for it for many years.

My symptoms are always: Nausea, sharp pains, aches, or like there are always butterflies in my stomach.

My whole esophagus was basically just scar tissue from it when they did a scope when I was 14😳

Most mornings... Luna just lays on my feet 🤣

My husband has suffered with acid for years. Whenever he went to the doctor he was told to take antacids and their body language said stop bothering me with something which can be treated with over the counter meds. Later they said, try this new product Gaviscon, which was prescription only at first, and later became over the counter. Fast forward to 2015, and in December he developed a severe pain from his back, round his side to his front. The doctor did all sorts of tests which showed nothing wrong. A month later, she was at a loss until he said that although the pain had gone his stomach still felt bloated. You could almost see her ears pricking up and she sent him for a gastroscopy. Four gastroscopies and biopsies in 4 months later they'd diagnose Barratts cells in his oesophagus, and they need to monitor him annually for low grade dysplasia. He now takes a high dose proton pump inhibitor which seems to have stabilised things at Barratts cells. And he has put on weight as he can now eat more than ever before.
The sequence is:
stomach acid -> Barratts cells -> low grade displasia -> high grade displasia -> oesophageal cancer.

My husband is now 71 and it's taken years to reach the Barratts cell stage; it wasn't realised back when he first had symptoms what the dangers were, and they hadn't invented proton pump inhibitors, but now it is known and drugs are available.

And the pain? Never officially diagnosed but since it followed the exact same path as the rash when I had shingles I think he'd tweaked a nerve in his spine.

One of those rare mornings!! I'm having breakfast 😅
Egg and cheese biscuit... But my brother was distracting me so I burnt the cheese and egg :sly:
