vietnamese koi

Yeah illegal, becoz they can survive in the river systems better than the native fish. So if you go fihsing and catch one, u suppose to kill it.

crazy, how do they feel about goldfish? here in california we are not allow the zebra glofish. even though they are a tropical fish, the state's worried about a genetically modified fish making its way into the wild.

Well it seems like you can have everything but KOI. :/ and i wanted to make a nice pond with them.

There are other species like mosquito fish that are KOS too. Guess the goverment likes to protect the native creatures.

Is Good but the funny thing is, that accross the border you can keep KOI (if you have a permit) lol, and one of the rivers is shared by the 2 states LOL. I just jump accross and i can keep any KOI i fished out of the river but if i cross again i will have to kill it. :X

I could see a mother threatening her child with punishment of being thrown to the fishes with that many hungry koi in one spot.
