Urg I Got Mouth Full Of Fish Water When Using Gravel Vac

So you never removed shrimp when you added the parasite med. As parasite meds can kill them.
Check water stats.
Is there enough aeration in the tank.

no couldnt i had no choice i never had anywhere for shrimp to go and lfs wouldnt have him as my tank had probs, so i brought a air pump/big volcano type hoping it may help,
shrimp is fine now he's been walking around so unsure if it was because he had just that moment shed his shell or what ...

my water is testing fine .

the guppy died was very skinny infact the 3 remaining guppies are now skinny ,with white and red stringy poo.lots of flicking also,

is there anything else i can do ... how long before i add anything else if i can at all ?

Once fish are really skinny the damage has been done I'm afraid.
The med will save the more healthy ones.
Things should start to improve when you done the second dosage.
You need to add a bacterial med if you done a water change now.

THANKS I HAVE MELAFIX ,PROTOZINE AND MYXAZINE POSS CONFUSED WITH SPELLING BUT ARE ANY OF THESE OK TO USE ? AND WHAT DOSE ?

I UNDERSTAND THE SKINNY GUPPIES ARE PROBABLY UNSAVABLE WHAT ABOUT THE NEON TETRA THAT HAS LOST ITS COLOURS CAN THAT BE SAVED ?

You really need anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
Have you checked your water stats.
Where has the neon lost his colour. Just in the red stripe area or all over.

MY WATER IS FINE ACCORDING TO APS MASTER TEST KIT

THE NEON HAS ALMOST FADED TO A DIRTY GREY ITS RED AND BLUE ARE MUCH PALE

THE LFS HAVE TOLD ME ALL THESE MEDS I NEEDED TO TREAT THIS EACH TIME I WENT BACK NOW I GUESS I STILL DONT HAVE THE RIGHT MEDS ARGGG,

POOR FISHES I WILL HAVE TO GET 2MORO IS INTERPET BACTERIAL MED THE NAME OF THE ONE I NEED ?

THANKS

The neon shouldnt be grey and if the fish are flicking aswell.
Does the grey area look slimey and is the neon flicking.
Has the ph changed.

CANT REALLY TELL AS ITS GONE INTO HIDING BUT IT MAY POSSIBLY BE LIKE SLIMEY OVER IT HAS BEEN FLICKING AS IS 1 OTHER NEON I WILL TRY AND CHECK ,

I NEVER CHECKED PH TODAY AS DIDNT THINK TO CHECK THAT AS DONE IT BEFORE BUT I WILL DO THAT AGAIN..

WILL POST RESULTS AND TRY POST SOME PICS IF CAN ,

ALSO NOTICED UNDER GUPPIES MOUTHS /GILLS UNSURE WHAT THEY LOOK VERY RED AND WIDER IF THAT MAKES SENSE..

OFF TO RECHECK STATS THANKS ...

Nothing going right for you is it.
Red gils can be bad water quality, bacterial gill rot, gill flukes.
Fish can get excess slime with flukes.
Just check ph.

ph checked slight difference from 7.8 but not quite 8.0 in one tank ,

the other tank is still 7.8

both tank readings were fine last night rechecked both tanks again this morning and amonia has gone from 0. - to 0.25 in tank with slight ph rise so did 40% water change,

what would cause this ?

also noticed tank with amonia rise the red guppy has now developed a kind of black spot at the end of its belly ?

yeh reckon both my tanks are going through the wars at present .guessing their in a pretty bad way,

camera had to go in shop today as decided to pack up, get it back in a few days ,i did take some pics yesterday trying to put them on here as unsure how to do it properly,

hopefully will get them on here later.

How big is the black spot. That can be a sign of fish tb.
Do you have any snails in the tank.

no snails in either tank, but the guppies black spot is quite a fair size it came from no where as i never noticed it the day before but he has got swollen belly

Have you added a bacterial med as meant to use one after you finished the parasite med.

no not yet as only got these 3 meds and unsure if can use any MELAFIX ,PROTOZINE AND MYXAZINE ,

will be in town 2moro so if ive got to get another med plz advise on whats best as each time i come back from lfs supposebly they say this is the med i need and it turns out its not

thanks
