Trigon Island 190

it was the dog! He was laid across the bottom of the tank. He sounds like a dirty old man.

yeah, it's with the new memory card, it's actually better quality on my PC, i need to have a play about with it. It's filmed with 1080p, i may scale it down, to see if the pics are sharper.

sorted, i must upload in 1080p on Youtube!

 My pomeeranian sounds the same. Too funny. I really have to play more with video. iPhone 4 and my point and shoot both have HD video. I just never took advantage of it before until pico mania hit. I'll have to explore it more.

It's nice to see a tank with fish. The tank is splendid, Ian. Just really lush and healthy. :good:

i love the tank ianho its awseome!!

lol i wish my tank looked half as good

can you specify what species of hydroctole is it or maybe a common name perhaps?

The cardinals playing in the flow of the tank, they do this at the same time every night.

Watching that first thing in the morning with my headphones in whilst blaring Wolfmother - New Moon Rising really had me tripping. Whta with it combining with the funky beat you put in your video haha.

Tank is really looking plush. I've drifted out of the planted side the last month or two and thought i'd check back. I knew this was going to turn out into a thick green lush tank, but i was surprised still to see it. Well done. Makes me really want to get the FE fired up (still havnt done) and get mine back on track. Might have to update my journal in the new year :hey:

Hey , Gabb, it's hydrocotle verticillata. Take no notice as what Tropica say it's max height is. As you can see one of my larger stems is at least 30cm.

Thanks James! You can't beat a bit of 'Joker and the Thief' first thing in the morning! Make sure you start a journal. :good:

My journal is there somwhere. "Wiseys Burton Dasset" i think i called it. Just need to rig up my FE CO2 and update the journal. Its been without CO2 for over a month and is really looking depleted

^^i think it looks good as well Josh!

named Boris by my 3 year old.

it's from a tank that was being shut down and the guy was gonna just get rid, if ya know what i mean.

after all the new tanks, i had an itchy feeling in my fingers, i decieded to go in and trim the crypts. We i over trimmed the crypts and removed them. I have added some mid tank short stems, and a couple of Echinodorus quadricostatus.

What did you do with the crypts!!! :shout:

Needless to say, I like the changes. Will look good when those stems grow a bit, good bit of red there. I love how the hydrocotyle is like so random...

half ended up over trimmed and in the bin. The other half went to a friend of mine. Its nice to see the fish in some swim space.

thanks llj!

Just thought i'd add a quick vid...lol
