sorry, C! I prefer it now TBH, it gives a little bit more openness to the tank.

Yeah, yeah, sure... movements are too jerky and fast for drunk, probably caffeine...

that or Tiger beer lol. I'll get the tripod out at some point.

wow, thanks, Ghent. No need to salute though! I am very pleased with it though. I'm gonna be taking out the backing and starting a fresh early in the summer. Here's to another scape. :good:

What are you plans for the tear down? Any ideas yet?

I will have to do it early on in the summer (i will have time constraints later in the year, all will become clear soon). I don't know what i'm going to do yet, i did think about a large Iwagumi, i haven't seen one in a corner tank, and was wondering if it would work?? I'm open to ideas!

Thanks Andy! I will be keeping an eye on the Angel, but the Cards are on the bigger side and the do get bigger than neons, so hopefully they will. I have read mixed veiws though.

If you LFS is decent you could get them to order in. This website is very reasonable and good quality plants.

an update on the stems put in a couple of weeks ago. The angel went back to the lfs, i caught him picking off a couple of the smaller Cards. In it's place, there is a group of Honey's. Three females and 2 males, all's good so far.

Dwarf Gourami's compliment a planted tank spectacularly, and vice versa. Love it!

cheers James, i saw some in Mark Evans's Iwagumi (prairie lands) and thought they really looked good. I wouldn't normally go near gouramis. They are very active though, more than i thought. Also, they are better schoolers than any fish i have owned! lol

Gouramis are a very nice choice for planted tanks. I've had sparklers and honeys. Miss them a bit since I not longer put heat in my tanks, but the imported gouramis in Miami are not of good quality and there are too many line-bred fish for my personal taste. Your fish look very nice. Makes me want honey gouramis again.

Why wouldn't you normally go near gouramis?

And finally my LFS come up trumps with Sumatra wood.

A bit of moving around today...

That one piece of wood has truly transformed the tank Ian.
