Trial And Error

Limnophilla looks like cabomba...I haven't seen Limnophilla in person though. :good: I was just talking out it, not criticizing dudes. I wouldn't have moved anything until you let it grow out anyway. It'll look way different when it matures some.

Its a much brighter green than Cabomba and its actually quite nice that it doesn't fall apart like Cabomba does when you touch/move it. I like it a lot, so do my shrimp :D

I've never actually seen limnophilla before, I really like it though! I love bright green plants :)

i also have some, i'll post you some of that as well.

After very kindly recieving some (more!!) plants from Jay, i have 99% completed my tank. (definately maybe anyway!) I have moved a few clumps of the Glosso that were more towards the right hand side and in-filled a few gaps in it with them. In the space i had created i planted some HC/M (mainly M i think?) so carpet the right hand side along with about 5 Dwarf Sag plants to the far right. Also filled tha gap amongst the Blyxa with some more Blyxa which has made it look more natural imo. I planted the biggest from the bunch in front of the Hydro on the left to join the front and the back of the scape together.

Now... Vallis... I love it! But... unsure whether it really suits the scape and wondering if i should replace it with some Bacopa maybe? But then would that look similar to the Rotala?

Thoughts please. :good:

get rid of the Vallis, full stop. I hate vallis, and you should too!

There is a little powerhead in there that is causing most of the destruction i think. May try and move that down a little and see if it helps any. Hoping to be getting a TetraTEC ex700 for it soon, if it ever turns up. That way i can remove the awful internal. Will need a diffuser then though as it is currently hooked up to the venturi on it.

Oh, and check out my new red leaf on my Echinodorus. :D

Unsure on the fish. Was contemplating rehoming the Shrimp and trying my luck with a pair of Rams or something?! :dunno:

If you like tall grassy plants, why not try cyperus helferi. The bonus is that it won't put off runners all over. I would've used that instead of vallis in my 75 but its not S. American. :( I used it in my 46g, but it's too short to see it.

It's a nice plant, the roots don't go crazy like most rosette plants either. THey almost look like java fern roots.

Whatever was bugging my eye before has changed. Maybe because the right side is filled in more and my eye it drifting that way with the sword as a focus. {did that make sense} I like it!

Nice red leaf

Ps. Did you hear, I got a RED BN today :hey: He's barely longer then an inch.
