No probs, glad its gone to a good home. The curly one is E. red devil, and the other one is magdalansis.

I love it - it's so cool! :D

The magdalansis has not posted well - quite a lot of the leaves have smushed - I picked off as many as I could before planting but even so I still keep finding the odd one floating on the surface. I'll see how they go.

The tricolour had a small daughter plant on the side of it, it didn't take much to seperate them so I've planted them seperately but next to each other.

I definitely need to put some mud in - when I put this sand in I wasn't intending plants so it's quite shallow. I shall rope someone in to take me in a car to buy some John Innes, and cap it with the sand I curently have in there.

Caz will the plants in the tubs stay in the tubs or will they be grown emersed attached to something?

I'm not sure myself tbh lol, I've never seen emersed plants as they go in before, i've seen a lot of finished tanks but I was wondering if they'll be planted or stay in the pots?

Lol, ok

Well eventually, I hope to have the cyperus planted in the substrate. Currently though, it's only 6-8 inches tall, so I'm going to wait until it's taller (14+ inches) before I start moving it below the water line. I hope to do the same with the lilies as well - have them planted in the substrate, but again they have some growing to do - the largest leaves are currently only 5 inches.

However, the sweetflag is staying in the planters, as is the fern and the hostas (when they eventually show up!)

Sorry for the lack of pictures last night - I went out for a curry and a drink with some friends :)

Just received some anubias nana petite from Box (thank you!). Going to fish out a small piece of vine wood that broke off the bigger piece and put these anubias bits on it. Will take pictures, and then see about taking and posting some pictures this evening of the whole thing.

I have to say, while this light is not very bright and a bit too yellow for me, the fact that there's only the one and it is yellowy means it really adds to the "murky swamp" effect. It's difficult to show in the pictures though. Maybe I'll shoot a video, perhaps that will show it better.

So, here we go.

This is the piece of wood:

Here it is outside of the tank:

And then close ups of the tank, left, middle and right (excuse the poop!):
