I'm really pleased with them Dan, thank you :) :good:

Also, when I was in my lfs today I noticed they were selling denisonii barbs, and they really were only 2.5-3 cms long! Absolutely diddy! And they were selling them at £12 each! 2 for £20, 4 for £36.

lol i bought some more last week that were 2cm n like you see they're are diddy however i got them a bit cheaper than your lfs were selling them at

thanks they also mentioned that they was wild caught but I'm sure most of them are w/c. they were priced at more

Took a quick snap on my phone seeing as the camera is being uncooperative  hope it works...

Also I noticed today that the tannins are such that when I look in the end of the tank I can't see right through to the other end :hyper:

Edit: apparently too big, let's see if I can persuade Photobucket to work on my phone.

Edit again: done it :D

LOL

yes i agree the rim is keeping the plants out of veiw (probably not as much in real life), the juwel rim can be removed, just be careful. Andy removed his and it looks fine.

that plant WILL be posted this morning, i'm sure it will hold out til monday.

I know it can, but if I do I'll have to put it on again to sell it. If it were just that then I'd do it, but I'm concerned about bowing. I can't drop the water level any further at the moment as the filter outlet is the lowest I can make it (and I'm not keen on it as it is as the flow has dropped cuz I put extra elbows on the outlet to lower it - couldn't find a straight extension pipe that fit). And I can't remove the filter completely at this stage cuz I've not got enough plants yet.

I'm really looking forward to getting the echinodorus Ian :D it'll be going at the back behind where the anubias are. Gonna shuffle the planters around a bit so it won't be shaded by them :good:

What's the filter/what pipes does it use?

18mm pipes IIRC.

Can you stretch some 17/22 over it if you warm up the tubing with boiling water? It'll be inside the tank, so if it falls off it should be noisy, rather than flood making.

what fish do you plan on keeping in it eventually? iv been thinking about creating a tank like this there are some real insperational ones on the net, complete with water bugs and all sorts
