Oh Fishblast I'm hopeless at posting pics! I won't get a chance to try 'til tomorrow evening so I'll try then.
It would be dead handy as I have a fish in my ten gal that was sold to me as a sparkling gourami and it's the strangest looking sg I've ever laid eyes on! I'd love your opinion.

Many of the wild caught Bettas look very similar to Sparkling Gouramis.......you may have gotten one of those by mistake? They are like cousins too.

Pulled a yellowed tailed male guppy out of the sump today.. any idear how my fish keep on ending up in the sump?? I am thinking they are jumping in. but cannot be 100% sure..

You guys ever watch the Maury Povich show?? I luzz the baby-mama episodes..

Me and my BFF used to bet on the paternity results.. 50 bucks per child.. but that was back before 2008..

I watch that plus Jerry Springer & The Steve Wilcos show whenever I stay home sick........

Ruskull, funnily enough when I saw the pics of your poor female yesterday I thought she looked very like my 'sparkling gourami'. My one is a very dark blue with red bits but with the same stubby looking tail and body and fin shape. What do you think? I might return her to the shop. She's in with sparkling gouramis (real ones!), galaxy rasboras and endlers.

This specific one is 95 gallons. It's 48" x 18" x 26"
My dad is the reason I was looking actually. He said he doesn't like the stand. The person is sending some pics later. I've actually been having a lot of difficulty finding a mahogany/ pine/ walnut stand and canopy. He also is saying that it's better to buy new, even though I could care less. It's only 2 years old. I figured out that I can buy, just the stand, lights, canopy and tank for $871 then I can get whatever canister I want and a 300 watt heater. With a Rena xp3 it was $1,012. I think I'll still go for the used one, just maybe I can find something that's nice to put it on instead.

I'd go with the less expensive one. You barely got your parents to consider a 75 gallon, asking for a 100 gallon might make them reconsider. Isn't a 100 gallon tank 6 feet long? Also, the extra money you save would buy a nice stand, canopy & lighting wouldn't it?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a 100 gallon six foot long tank but $375 to $1000 is quite a jump, especially considering it doesn't have a nice canister like the 75 vdoes.

The trick to converting C to F is this:

9/5C + 32= F

Simple!

I just got back from the Petsmart near my job & I just couldn't resist getting (2) Sunset Honey Gouramis! Now they're acclimating to the tank while still in the bag. Hopefully I can let them loose in about 20 minutes or so. One is large and a def. male, the other is much smaller and a possible female, which is rare to find at Petsmart. Wish me luck because if it isn't a female it's a sissy submissive male and that could cause problems. But hey, I have 14 days to return one or both for a full refund so I pulled the trigger cause I'm cool like that!

They do look a bit like each other. If yours is a female Betta you'll probably be okay with her from what I've read. They aren't harassing each other are they?

The 4 others I have are in qt. Not sure if you remember, but the 2 in my big tank were a mated pair, but the female stopped eating and I put her down because she was losing weight fast.
