Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 20
Ph - 8.2
Sg - 1025

Temp is at 27.1 slightly high!

Loads of nice caves and in some places can see right through to the backof the tank!

My snail charlie -

while looking at charlie I spot something under a spare snail shell....its a white tube!

Keep looking...its a feather duster

and a moonlight shot from the front...

and from the left...

So pleased I have a duster I even showed missy my cat!
I also have tons of what look like spaghetti worms! oooh and spondid worms!

Looks great so far. Tests also seem to show some pretty well-cured rock there

yeah some nice looking rock there.
good scaping as well, will allow lots of flow around it.

I am really pleased with it! Did take about 2 hours to get the scaping right...the rock went in...then out....then in over and over till it fitted! The flow goes right through the middle so should keep everything nice and alive!

The tests do seem quite good but I have had LR rubble in there since last weekend so that may have helped!

Looks good, nice structure, you usually find that the rock will fit together better just the one way, finding it can be a little like the Krypton Factor.

It probably did help having the LR rubble in there as that was probably already cycled, or very nearly there.

You may want to consider what you will be gettinhg for CUC as this will come very soon now.

Oh and I wish you many happy hours with "THE BOOK", read it properley as Borneman intended and you you will get so much more from it than if you dive straight into the coral section.

It was just like the krypton factor...although I would have failed taking over 2 hours!

What are peoples thoughts on blue legs hermits? Are they really the snail murderers people say they are? What would you recommend for CUC....baring in mind I already have 1 dove snail

like the rock scapeing how many fish can go in that size of tank
and have you thought about what fish you are going to put in

I have red legs myself as I did not trust the blue legs, hopefully someone else will help you there.

Not sure on the ammount of fish but my plans so far are a green clown goby and a pair of clowns (one orange and one B&W).

I don't think I am going to get blue legs...I don't want to risk it.

good call the blue legs just kill each other for there shells plus there lazy

as you know i've got blue legs and have never had a problem with them.
i also have red legs
one with purple
and one with grey and black stripes
and 6 dwarf blue legs.

they get along with each other pretty well and have never had them attack my snails.
just provide them with a good selection of empty shells.
