Snow!

I am pleaesd too say the snow is making absolutley no head way on the wet gritted roads and pathways in surrey and west London infact at midday it has stopped snowing and the tempreture prediction for most of the day is +1 degrees so I do not think we will be seeing any significant snow fall today EXCELLENT!

Its a bad thing!
I was so when it stopped snowing. At the moment a lot of snow is falling but its not settling as everyone keeps on step on the unstepped bits of snow

im in essex, and we were sent home early from work, and its was dreadful, car slipping all over the road couldnt see the road infront of me when i got home my husband and daughter were already home from chelmsford, take care out there. di

some years ago, 1993 i think. i had to return from Bradford to Harrogate, because of snow. about half way there, i had a 360. it was all very calm, as road speeds were only couple of mph. but the guy in the range rover, behind me, nearly wet himself laughing. I did have a little chuckle to myself later when he got stuck on a hill. amazingly, my old Volvo 245, chugged up no probs.

Just checked the forecast in my area... apparently we should've had heavy snow all day but it's totally missed us. We had a light inch worth dusting .

And apparently it's light snow till 6am... yeah right.

Then -7 minimum night temperature on Friday!!!!! I'm shivvering already at the thought.

Haha! I dunno why they try predict the weather. They have been getting it wrong for more than 20 years! They know the weather changes in seconds!

Here is my train station Denmark Hill where I waited over an hour for a train, then the train took 40 mins to arrive to London Victoria (normally an 11 minute journey) because the snow caused the train problems which meant the train had to travel at walking speed (4MPH) during the whole journey (normally around 50MPH)

we've had loads of snow overnight, but our school isn't closed according to the radio, although it did say that the road is impassable on the route the buses take.
